The funeral service is a time of 'celebration of' and 'comfort for.' We celebrate the life of the one who has passed, as we remember the good life that has been lived. We offer comfort to family and friends who sorrow over the loss with prayer and hope from scripture. We do not believe life just ends with ceremony and grave. We believe in a God who welcomes all faithful to a kingdom beyond this life and who seeks to comfort those who sorrow until the time of reunion will come.
